Every year the Queen's Club ATP500 offers the same core hospitality formats that have worked for decades — private dining rooms, formal menus, complimentary bars, Centre Court seats. They are excellent and they deliver exactly what they promise. The View was built for the person who looked at all of those options and wanted something different.
Introduced as part of what Keith Prowse describes as the Tennis Experience Era, The View starts with a simple premise: what if the hospitality space felt as good as the tennis? Not a dining room you leave to go to the court, but a space you actually want to be in — inside and outside, moving between the terrace and the lounge, eating when you want, drinking what you want, with music playing and something interesting happening around you at all times.
The location makes the premise work. The View's private terrace overlooks Courts 1, 2, and 5 at Queen's Club directly — three of the tournament's busiest courts across the first week of the ATP500, where early rounds and doubles produce some of the most interesting tennis of the whole event at close range. The world's best grass court players are warming up, competing, and moving between courts below you while you are on the terrace with a Pimm's or a bespoke cocktail from a menu that rotates throughout the day. That combination of premium food and drink in a space that actively connects you to the tournament grounds rather than separating you from them is the specific quality that The View offers and other packages do not.
The food is handled by Smoking Lobster, a family-run Pan-Asian restaurant from the Isle of Wight working with Absolute Taste. The format is roaming small plates and canapés that come to you rather than requiring you to visit a buffet or wait for a set dining time — the menu is Asian fusion, seasonal, and genuinely good. A live food station operates throughout the day with chefs preparing dishes in front of guests, which adds an interactive element that turns the food into part of the experience rather than a functional break between sessions. Roaming afternoon tea follows later in the day, served to you wherever you are in the space.
The drinks are the most complete of any package in the Queen's lineup. Champagne, Pimm's, spirits, beer, wine, soft drinks, and low and no-alcohol options are all complimentary throughout the day. Crucially, takeaway drinks are permitted courtside — so when you walk the short distance from The View to your Premium North Stand seat on Andy Murray Arena, you take your drink with you. The handover between hospitality and tennis is seamless rather than requiring you to choose between the two.
The Centre Court seats are in the North Stand Premium tier, with padded seats located directly behind the players — the baseline position that places you as close to the server as any seat on Centre Court during a changeover. The walk from The View to those seats is short, via the Palliser Road VIP hospitality lane.
The pamper room is available all day and has become one of the more talked-about elements of The View since its introduction — a practical and enjoyable addition that makes a long day at Queen's feel genuinely well-considered rather than purely functional. The DJ runs throughout the day, keeping the atmosphere social and energetic in a way that a formal dining room inherently cannot.
Individual places can be booked to suit any group size, which gives The View a flexibility that private dining room packages — which require a minimum table size — don't offer. Two people or twenty, the format accommodates either equally well.
For any group that finds the traditional hospitality day too structured, too formal, or too similar to the corporate days they've already attended, The View is the answer Queen's has been waiting to offer them. Limited availability for 2026.
