About this package

Here is the pitch in one sentence: you eat a three-course dinner by one of Stockholm's best restaurants, then walk to the best seats in an arena so compact you can hear the players breathe.

Winners Table by Teatergrillen is the Stockholm Open's answer to the question of what happens when you let a serious kitchen operate inside a serious tennis venue. Teatergrillen is part of the Svenska Brasserier stable, the group behind Riche, Sturehof, and Ulriksdals Värdshus. These are not caterers who also run restaurants. They are restaurants who also happen to be catering this tournament. The difference shows up on the plate.

The format is a three-course menu: lunch for day sessions, dinner for evening sessions. You reserve a table for 2 to 10 guests, sit down, eat properly, and then move to your seats. The seats are the best available in the arena. At the Kungliga Tennishallen, that distinction carries real weight. The Royal Tennis Hall has been hosting the Stockholm Open since 1969 and it has never been modernised into something sterile. The stands are steep. The roof is low. The court sits in a bowl of noise. When a crowd of 3,000 reacts to a point in this building, it sounds like 10,000 somewhere else.

This is the package for people who do not want a lounge. No standing around with a glass of wine trying to find someone to talk to. No walking buffet. No branded signage. Just a table, a meal that would hold its own at the restaurant it comes from, and seats close enough to read the tension in a player's grip between points.

November in Stockholm is dark by mid-afternoon. The city turns inward, lights up, and eats well. An evening session at the Kungliga Tennishallen, with dinner beforehand and the defending champion Casper Ruud on court, is one of the best nights out available in Scandinavia in November. It does not feel like a sporting event with food attached. It feels like a great evening that happens to include some of the best indoor tennis on the planet.

Tables of 2 work. Tables of 10 work. This scales down to a date night and up to a team dinner without losing anything in either direction.

Winners Table by Teatergrillen

Teatergrillen is one of Stockholm's finest restaurants. The Kungliga Tennishallen is one of tennis's most electric small arenas. Winners Table puts them together: a three-course lunch or dinner, the best seats in the house, and a table for 2 to 10 guests. No lounge mingling, no corporate small talk with strangers. Just a proper meal and front-row tennis in a building where Borg once played. Enquire through experience.tennis for pricing and availability.
