About this package

Most tennis retreats work on a group schedule. You arrive on a set date, train with whoever else is there, and leave when the programme says you do. Kula Mani works the other way around. You choose when you arrive, how long you stay, which hotel you want, and what your daily training schedule looks like. The retreat is built around your calendar, not a fixed departure date.

That flexibility sits on top of one of the most compelling tennis facilities to open anywhere in Southeast Asia in recent years. Kula Mani Tennis Village is the Mouratoglou Tennis Center Bali — a collaboration between the Kula Mani development and the Mouratoglou Academy, the organisation founded by Patrick Mouratoglou, the coach who built his methodology across two decades working with Serena Williams, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and a roster of players at the top of the ATP and WTA tours. The facility itself opened in Ubud in early 2026 and its seven courts — three semi-indoor hard courts, two semi-indoor clay courts, and two outdoor courts including the Grand Stand Court with capacity for 1,500 spectators — are built to ITF certified standards. The Grand Stand Court overlooks the iconic Balinese rice fields. It is, without exaggeration, one of the most visually extraordinary court settings in world tennis.

The retreat's daily structure is built around four hours of personalised tennis coaching by a Mouratoglou-certified coach. The Mouratoglou methodology is specific and consistent across all its centres: it combines technical instruction, mental strength training, and individual performance development rather than generic group drills. Training groups are limited to a maximum of four players per court, and the programme rotates across hard courts, clay courts, and the Grand Stand Court, with a Grand Stand Court experience included on the final day of every retreat. The signature photoshoot at the Grand Stand Court, with the rice fields as the backdrop, is one of those inclusions that seems incidental until you see the result.

The two hotel options are both within easy reach of the facility. The Westin Resort and Spa Ubud is 12 minutes by car and 11 minutes by scooter — a five-star Marriott property with jungle views, infinity pools, and a spa that complements the on-court recovery programme well. Sthala Ubud Bali, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is two minutes by car or scooter — a five-star property for those who want to be as close as possible to the courts with the least possible friction between their room and their morning session. Both include daily breakfast as part of the retreat package.

Dining throughout the retreat is at Kula Padi restaurant, Kula Mani's own curated dining venue on site. Daily lunch is included. The spa element covers one complimentary spa experience plus IDR 1,000,000 in spa credit at Kula Spa, which is enough to cover a proper treatment session rather than a token offering.

The retreat is available as a minimum two-day package with additional days purchasable at a flat rate. The base two-day package includes one night's accommodation, but the per-day extension pricing — which adds four hours of coaching, lunch at Kula Padi, and a night's stay — makes the per-day cost consistent and predictable for anyone extending beyond the minimum. The pricing structure is seasonal: high season runs June through August and November through January, with low season covering February through May and September through October. All prices are quoted per person and inclusive of tax and service charges, with final billing in Indonesian Rupiah.

For any tennis player who wants a private, self-directed retreat in one of the world's great island destinations, with Mouratoglou-certified coaching, two five-star hotel options, and the most visually extraordinary Grand Stand Court in Southeast Asia, Kula Mani is the answer.
